Why the Silent Majority?

- "Silent Majority" is a term used by the U.S. President Richard Nixon in a 1969 speech. It refers to a large number of people in a country or group who do not express their opinions publicly. When President Nixon used it for the first time, it referred to those Americans who did not join in the large demonstrations against the Vietnam War at the time, who did not engage in riots and attack police officers, who did not join in the counterculture, and who did not enthusiastically participate in public discourse or the media. Nixon along with many others saw this group as being overshadowed by the more vocal minority.

I am suprised that McConnaughay has any votes. She can't follow a budget in Kane County, who is to think that she could follow one in Washington? Actually, the way Congress has been spending our tax dollars lately, Karen could fit right in.
Chris Lauzen should win this election hands down. He is the most prolific candidate that I have ever seen. I think that he would make a great Congressman.
Let's face it, there are only 3 legitimate candidates, Oberweis, Lauzen and Schmitz. Karen, Sandy, Jack, Pat and the rest are a joke.Why are people even considering them?
Tim Schmitz is a younger candidate that could spend more time in Congress, rising in the ranks and gaining more power. I think that we would get much more bang for our buck with him than any of the others.
