Kerry Belittles U.S. Troops
And Democrats say that they support our Armed Forces... it looks like Kerry is showing his true colors. What's next, calling Abe Lincoln a racist? Oh wait, John Laesch already did that.

From a press release issued by the Illinois State Republican Party:
"While Howard Dean is in Chicago, he should do more than call John Kerry's disrespectful comments about our men and women in uniform a "blooper." Howard Dean, Senator Dick Durbin, Dan Seals and any Illinois Democrat who shares the stage today with Dean should join Democrats around the country in denouncing John Kerry's despicable comments about our military.
"Dan Seals, who is featured on John Kerry.com today, should return any contributions the Seals campaign may receive from Kerry's efforts."

What Democrats around the country have said about John Kerry's remarks:
"Sen. Kerry's remarks were poorly worded and just plain stupid, " said Montana Senate President Jon Tester, a Democrat trying to unseat GOP Sen. Conrad Burns. "He owes our troops and their families an apology." (AP, 11/1/06)
"Whatever the intent, Senator Kerry was wrong to say what he said," said Democratic Rep. Harold Ford Jr., running for Senate in Tennessee. (AP, 11/1/06)
